INUGAMI NO TATARI was written and directed by Shun’ya Itô (FEMALE PRISONER #701: SCORPION, YÛKAI HÔDÔ, HAKUJASHO [WHITE SNAKE ENCHANTMENT]), and is about a man looking to mine uranium in a rural Japanese village who has the wicked curse of the Dog God set upon him.
In Inugami, a dog god places a curse on a man whose expedition jeep ran over a shrine and an adorable Shiba pup immediately after. Where the cat spirit kills with quick precision, the dog god really wants to make this one guy suffer.
