A mining company looking for uranium in a rural village upsets the Dog God, who has a curse on the village. One of the mining employees and a village girl marry, only to escape after people start to die, but the Dog God possesses the girl and they return to the village to try to break the curse.
Overview. In a rural village with a poorly understood but long standing curse from the Dog God, outsiders from a major Tokyo mining corporation scouting for uranium destroy a small shrine and crush a dog under their jeep wheels.
Inugami no akuryō. Romaji. A trio of young scientists investigate a source of uranium at the base of a sacred mountain, and after running over a dog, find themselves cursed by the locals.
