"Son of a Gun" is the Christmas-themed episode of the BBC One crime drama Inspector George Gently, based on the novels by Alan Hunter, produced and aired as its seventh series finale.
It's 1969 and on Christmas Eve, Gently is enjoying the festive cheer, until he gets news that a local bank had been robbed. Gently's hunt for the gunmen takes him into the underground world of skinheads.
