Welcome to Great Lakes Volleyball Club. Our mission is to provide the best volleyball training by developing the skills and techniques required to compete at the highest level. We will focus on the physical, mental, emotional development of all our players.
Boys – All Divisions – first legal date for tryouts is Saturday, August 17th, 2024. Tryouts, offers and payments may begin as soon as the 1st tryout date. Club Practices for Boys of all age groups may start on or after September 1st, 2024.
Home of the Sports Performance Volleyball Club (over 600 boys and girls ages 13-18). Great Lakes Center Youth Volleyball Academy (over 1,000 participants per year) which includes programs such as the “VolleyTikes” & “VolleyTots” to expose the sport of volleyball to the 3-10-year-old age level.
The Great Lakes Region Volleyball hosts outstanding events because we are committed to providing top-tier competition, fostering a vibrant volleyball community, and ensuring that every club and athlete has the opportunity to excel in a well-organized and supportive environment.
This level consists of practice hours of four hours per week and 12-14 tournament play dates. Regional teams play and practice at a high competitive level, traveling regionally. Local Level Programs. Our Local Level Program can provide you as an athlete, an affordable springboard to advanced play.
The junior club season kicks off in the summer with tryouts, formally starts on September 1st when practices can occur, and extends through spring/summer of the following year. Great Lakes currently offers High Performance teams for both Junior Girls and Boys with the ability for all GLR junior members to tryout.
Igor Khait (August 2, 1963 – March 28, 2016) [1] was an American animator and animation producer. After graduating from UC Santa Cruz with a Bachelor of Arts in fine art, and an additional BA in film graphics and animation from the California Institute of the Arts, Khait started his career in 1989, working at Amblin Entertainment.
