Ibrahima Konaté (born 25 May 1999) is a French professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Premier League club Liverpool and the France national team. Starting off with Sochaux, Konaté moved to RB Leipzig in 2017. After four years with the club, Liverpool signed him in 2021 for a fee of £36 million.

The France international agreed a move to the Reds from RB Leipzig after four seasons with the Bundesliga side in which he played almost a century of games in domestic and European competition.
During 2021/22 Konaté had to bide his time in the Premier League, but he became Virgil van Dijk's preferred central defensive partner in the Champions League, where Liverpool lost 1-0 to Real Madrid in his home city of Paris. He also earned his first full international caps for France.
