Mar 1, 2022 · East Gate, also known as Dongmen Gate or Yingximen (竹塹城迎曦門), is one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. The must-visit attraction is a short walk from the train station, and several roads actually lead straight to it. The gate was built in 1826 and is the only remaining remnant of the old city wall.
