This film review template resource is great for teaching your class how to structure and write a film review analyzing a movie they've watched. This template helps students write a film review by encouraging them to answer relevant questions about the movies children are watching in the classroom.
After viewing the movie, I like to take some time to outline some key terms to help students write their reviews. Words like blockbuster, avant-garde, disjointed, or uninspired can help elevate movie reviews in ELA from “friendly recommendations” to “review quality.”
