Jun 24, 2015 · There are basically 2 forms of reset: a "hard" or "cold" reset, and a "soft" or "warm" reset. Most of the time, a "soft" reset is all that's necessary, but sometimes you need to take it a bit further. I recommend trying a soft reset first, and if that doesn't work, try a hard reset.
1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen. 2. Settings > Software Updates. 3. Tap Check for Updates. You can also update your device software using BlackBerry Link. For more information, see the Help documentation for. BlackBerry Link.
First, you need an autoloader. Download the corresponding one for your device here: BB10 Autoloaders. Turn off your device, plug it into your computer and run the autoloader. It'll do its job and you should be at the setup screen!
