Jan 30, 2014 · I've removed all the beading from the inside of the windows at it had been painted over and was generally manky. I've got all the sealant off with persistence and a scraper and scrubbing, but I can't get the glue off that was used to stick the beading on with. Anyone got any ideas how to remove it? Thanks

May 11, 2004 · I am trying to clean some uPVC window frames, but the internal corners have been finished with something that does not seem to be silicone. It is quite hard but comes away with scratching, which I don't really want to do.
Sep 29, 2005 · I think white spirits/turps (possibly brush cleaner too) will work too - it's a solvent for the tape adhesive, but shouldn't harm the PVC. ("always try on an inconspicuous area first...") What to use instead?
