Jan 23, 2023 · There are two methods for bypassing your Blackberry password without erasing your data. The first is to use BlackBerry’s Google Chrome browser to log into your Gmail account, then click Settings, then Accounts. Find the account you want to delete and click the Remove button.

Jun 8, 2022 · I own a Z30, and have not realized that BlackBerry Protect was still activated when the servers shut down. I am unable to wipe the device using the standard procedure. "Settings -> Security and Privacy -> Security Wipe" will ask for BBID password, but nothing happens on "verify". A wrong password is rejected (and failed attempts count up to 10).
The following tutorial presents the simple way to unlock password protection in BLACKBERRY Passport. Firstly press the Power button, until your mobile phone is on. In the next step you should to type incorrect password.
You will then go to the standard BBID sign-in screen. At this point you can turn Screen Reader off by pressing the power button three times in quick succession again. Select "Skip" on the BBID screen. You will either see a Regional Settings or Software Update screen.
