    Summer is peak season in Montauk. Visiting this time of year is a no brainer. The beaches are sunny and warm, all businesses are open, and there’s an unbeatable energy to the area. There’s really nothing like Montauk in summer. The downside, it can be crowded and traffic is heavy.

    Winter

    Winter on the far east end is cold and quiet. The weather is chilly and the beaches are silent except for the howling of wind.
