We recently stayed at a beach house in Destin, Florida. The beach house was good and provided what we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was amazing! We were close to everything—restaurants, stores, and, most importantly, easy beach access. Destin itself is a wonderful place, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Great place for a family and it’s dog friendly! Walking distance to the beach and Destin commons. The prior reviews mentioned ants and the lack of toilet paper/paper towels - none were an issue for us and we stayed for 5 days. We only needed a few more trash bags. The home was comfortable and homey. The pool was refreshing. There were clear instructions on check in and checkout process, as well as a great local restaurant guide. It couldn’t list every single restaurant, but there were some good ones listed. The beach was within walking distance, however, I would’ve loved to have a golf cart to use. Great place and area! Very clean, with it being pet friendly was great. Kitchen is well equipped. Love the back porch!!! Be careful on the blocks out back though and around the pool, there are ants and they bite! The pool cleaners came once during the week but we never had access to a pool net to clean out the pool so that was kind of annoying. Other than that there are no serious complaints.
