A week after the end of the series The Best of Robot Wars was shown, an episode featuring selected highlights from the second series of the show.
Series 3
Episodes starting with this series are 45 minutes in length. Heat I was originally scheduled for broadcast on 4 February but was postponed to the following week due to extended tennis coverage. The First World Championship was produced at the same time as the rest of Series 3 and was originally released on video (between the broadcast of Heats M and N) before premiering on TV in 2001 on BBC Choice during the run of Extreme Series 1. This was followed by a repeat on BBC Two.
