Nov 9, 2018 · My grandfather was married from Slake Terrace. I know the area of South Shields and Marsden well as I lived there for some years. My mother worked at the biscuit factory before she married. I visit the area as often as I can as it brings back so many memories. I still have family who live there on the route of the Great North Run.
