About 75-100 are films that I watch for the first time. In a theater, I watch about 5-10 new movies a year. However, I tend to watch more movies that I’ve seen before in the theater - I’m more likely to watch a limited run of an older movie than a new release (like the 70-mm print of 2001 that was out last year).

I'll probably reach 300 films this year (which isn't that much compared to some standards). The payoff is that I spend less time living my own life, and more time living through the movies. The common number among filmbuffs is between 100-200 a year, I think, which is totally cool.
Probably only averaged about 75 new movies per year during that time. But this year, I'm already around 100. Being home all the time has certainly made it easier to watch more, but time outside of work is generally my time now, so that means more time and energy to watch.
