10 Brookside Close was a semi-detached house on the left side of the Close, joined to 9 Brookside Close. It had three bedrooms upstairs. A garage was later added to the side of the house, which was later converted into a fourth bedroom.
10 Brookside Close was initially vacant in the first episode.
In November 1982, married couple Gavin and Petra Taylor moved into the property. Soon after moving into the property, it was burgled, along with all the other occupied houses in the Close.
Now aligned and fully integrated into the housing estate that has always surrounded it, Brookside Close is now simply Brookside (odd numbers: 43–67) and real residents now occupy the houses, [98] making it unlikely that the houses will be used in film or television production again.
