NFL Players Coached: 1. Josh Lovelady was named the 2nd Head Coach for Mill Creek in January of 2019 after serving for 15 seasons as the offensive line coach/offensive coordinator for the Hawks. Coach Lovelady played high school football at South Gwinnett from 1989-1991 and then played at West Georgia from 1991-1994.
Mill Creek’s overall record since 2004 is 102-68, but since the first graduating class in 2007, the Hawks are 94-46. They have not had a losing season since the 2006 season and have made the playoffs five consecutive seasons. While at Mill Creek, Coach Lovelady has also coached track and field, primarily coaching the shot put and discus.
