    Tompkins Square Bagelsis probably my favourite place in the city when it comes to breakfast bagels and if you’re planning a trip to NYC for 7 days with your friend or partner in tow, I’d highly recommend sharing one of the monster-sized bagels between two people as they’re absolutely enormous but oh-so-good!

    Walk the Brooklyn Bridge

    Once you’ve stuffed your face with the best bagels in town, it’s time to head Downtown to walk across the iconic Brooklyn Bridge! It’s approximately a 40-minute walk to the start of the Brooklyn Bridge from Tompkins Square Bagels, or you can save some energy and take the L train to Union Square from 1st Avenue then the number 5 to the Brooklyn Bridge – City Hall stop which takes around 20 minutes. When you’ve sated your appetite at Russ & Daughters, enjoy a leisurely 15-minute walk into Chinatown. This vibrant Manhattan neighbourhood is full of awesome places to eat, affordable bars and beautiful sights.
