Psycho II. Horror. 113 minutes ‧ 1983. Roger Ebert. June 6, 1983. 3 min read. The first thing is to put Alfred Hitchcock’s original “ Psycho ” (1960) right out of your mind. There will never be another movie like it, and no sequel could possibly capture its unique charms.
After 22 years at an asylum, Norman Bates (Anthony Hopkins) is declared sane and released, which is radically opposed by Lila Loomis, AKA Lila Crane from the original movie (Vera Miles).
