Nightmare mode should be very doable as long as you are decent at the game. In nightmare mode, you take more damage than you do in hardcore mode, but you also deal more damage than hardcore mode, which makes nightmare mode basically a glass cannon difficulty.

The difficulty of Inferno gets massively overhyped by some people. Is it challenging? Yes. But is it this ball breaking experience that is only possible to beat with the infinite rocket launcher and every shop coin in the game? No. It's completely doable without using any shop items at all.

Apr 4, 2020 · On Inferno enemies are stronger than Nightmare. There's fewer typewriters and storage boxes and auto save is disabled. Item placement is also randomized. Edit: For S rank you need to beat it under 2 hours. Same with Nightmare. It's hard without infinite ammo yes, but with it, stupidly easy.
