   Jun 8, 2024 · I am trying to connect an esp 32 on windows 11 but it can't detect the esp. I have tried it on windows 10 and successfully connected it. Even after installing CP210X drivers it can't detect on windows 11. In the device manager it is showng Unknown USB Device ( Device Descriptor Request Failed).

   May 24, 2018 · If it were me, the first thing I would do is list my USB devices and serial ports using Windows device manager. I would then plugin (or pull) the ESP32 connector and see if anything changes. If nothing, I would try a different USB cable and see if that changes any of the stories.
