Each episode contributes to the overall plot and character development, so it’s recommended to watch the series in order to fully grasp the story’s progression.
Spy City is a spy thriller television miniseries created by William Boyd about spies in 1961 Berlin, during the Cold War. The series first aired in Germany, and AMC+ picked up the rights to stream in the United States at MIPTV.
- British actor Dominic Cooper worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company but he just can’t get enough of spy thrillers. In addition to playing an MI6 agent in Spy City (above) he starred as a naval spy in Stratton: “I loved learning how to drive the speedboats.

MI6 agent Fielding Scott (Cooper) is meeting a man for the handoff of a yellow envelope that Scott is carrying for the British government.
Spy City: With Dominic Cooper, Romane Portail, Leonie Benesch, Johanna Wokalek. An English spy is sent to Berlin in 1961 to sift out a traitor in the UK Embassy or among the Allies, shortly before the construction of the Berlin Wall.
