Jun 8, 2020 · In order to run online on-demand courses for non-students, we have to enable open registration. This makes us vulnerable to spam users and, since March, we have been attacked repeatedly with spam user accounts. They don't do anything in Canvas, just create accounts.
The weird thing about Canvas is that a lot of the features have to be enabled by your admin. Frequently I will want to do something, google it, and discover that it would be possible to do what I want if whoever runs our Canvas license would enable me to do it.
