We suggest wearing your Oura Ring Gen3 on the index or third finger to capture the most accurate biosignals. The sizing website recommends index finger first - I imagine this is because the index finger usually has the least difference in size between knuckle and finger base. https://ouraring.com/sizing.
I wear my gen3 in the middle finger of dominant hand (right hand) - same size as gen2, same finger, same hand, do not switch fingers or hands. Depending on the time or season of the year, it will be a bit loose sometimes but I have a big knuckle so I cannot lose it.
