- Christmas Posters/Signs. Whether you’re making a poster to announce a Christmas party or a holiday choir performance, my stocking templates can be used as a decoration alongside the text.
- Pattern For A Cloth Stocking. These stocking templates could also be used as a very basic pattern for an actual cloth stocking. You’ll need to cut all around the stocking, leaving about an inch of paper from the outline.
- Classroom Activities. You can use my stocking templates for a number of fun, educational classroom activities for both reading/writing and math. For example, in one of my larger templates, you could draw lines on the stocking and pass out copies to your students; the prompt could be “What I want for Christmas…”

Making your own Christmas stocking is an easy Christmas activity that kidsof all ages can participate in and make something uniquely theirs at this time of the year. Step 2 – Cut Out the Stocking Template Pieces
Using scissors, cut out all the pieces for your stocking.
Step 3 – Decorate Your Stocking
Now comes the fun part…start decorating your own stocking! Here I used crayons, colored pencils and glitter glue to decorate our stocking.
