    Many of the store purchased spice rubs can be a bit too salty, or smoky, this one has a perfect balance. It will become your secret ingredient in your kitchen.

    ¼ cup brown sugar(golden brown, light, or dark brown sugar)
    ¼ cup sweet paprika(not hot paprika)
    3 tablespoons cracked black pepper
    3 tablespoons sea salt(kosher salt)
    Combine all the ingredients for this dry bbq rub recipe in a small bowl and stir to mix using a small whisk to evenly combine.
    Store any leftover mix at room temperature in an airtight jar out of light and heat in a dry place. It will keep for at least 3 months.
