The area of a trapezium is calculated by: Adding the parallel sides. Dividing by 22. Multiplying by the height. This can also be summarised with the following formula: Area Trapezium = a + b 2 × h Area Trapezium = 2a+b × h. Where aa and bb are the parallel sides. Where hh is the perpendicular height of the trapezium.
