  1. Planes. Planes (and helicopters) are the main feature in Pilot Training Flight Simulator. Planes in PTFS are modeled off of real-life planes, except for some Robux-bought planes. Click here to view all planes (if you're on mobile, use this as it will allow for easier navigation.) To control a plane, use the E key to start the engine, the W key ...

There are three ways to refuel aircraft. The first way is by taxiing to one of the "FUEL" tanks around the airport. Alternatively, you can drive a Fuel Truck next to the aircraft. When refueling do not exit the aircraft. If Infinite Fuel has been enabled in the options the player won't be required to refuel the aircraft. The last and trickiest way ...

Stalling occurs when the aircraft's wings are unable to generate enough lift to keep the aircraft in the air. A stall can occur due to many reasons, including; too high of an Angle of Attack/Pitch, Engine stopping (either by fuel loss or pressing "E" to turn them off), or if the aircraft is not flying fast enough. The stalling speed of an aircraft ...

To reduce the potential lag of having too many things loaded at once, the game will despawn aircraft and vehicles unoccupied for two minutes. The timer resets whenever someone gets into the aircraft or vehicle.

Cruise mode, toggled by pressing T/Cruise Mode freezes the aircraft mid-air. Allowing the passengers, co-pilot and pilot to walk around the aircraft without the potential of falling out. The aircraft must be at a minimum of 1000 ft before being able to cruise. Aircraft will still despawn after 2 minutes if there is no pilot or co-pilot.

Altitude Hold mode, toggled by pressing R/Altitude Hold levels out the aircraft at a constant altitude. While in altitude hold, the pilot and co-pilot will be unable to change the direction of the aircraft.

The Advanced Flight mode changes certain parts of the flight controls to allow for maneuvers that are otherwise impossible with it disabled. This includes allowing the aircraft to perform full 360° turns on the Roll and Pitch Axis. It also allow allows the player to control the aircraft's rudder with A and D/Right and Left Triggers/Left and Right R...

Currently, the only aircraft with VTOL capabilities are the Hawker Harrier and F-35B. VTOL has a separate throttle indicator and controls than the normal throttle. To use VTOL, press/tap R and F/VTOL Up/Down to increase/decrease the VTOL throttle. To start hovering, increase the VTOL throttle to 51-100%. To lower down put the VTOL throttle to 0%-49%. To hover the aircraft put the VTOL throttle at 50%.

Or if you want to takeoff quickly, turn on both VTOL and throttle, it actually will help you takeoff even faster.
