Nov 9, 2023 · Recognising the important role that passion plays throughout our lives, it’s necessary to provide children of all ages with passion-based learning experiences. Here, we offer guidance on how you can encourage and support your child to find their personal passions.
- Teach them to explore their interests. Encourage your child to explore a variety of activities. Let them try new things, and if they're interested in something, encourage them to practice it regularly.
- Focus on their strengths. When you ask them what they like to do, what they're good at, and what they enjoy, it's not about helping them find a passion or their purpose.
- Show them the world and what it offers. The world is a big place, and it's filled with so many possibilities. When you take your kids out into the world and expose them to everything it offers, they'll be able to see what they're interested in, what they enjoy doing, and who they want to be when they grow up.
- Express your belief in their abilities. When you believe in your child's abilities, they will believe in themselves even more. Encourage them to be the best version of themselves that they can be, and support them every step of the way.
