Trees
Trees provide Fruit, wood wands, and Fairies by Shakingthem and various wood types from chopping them down. The player can use smart cursorto place acorns automatically or place them manually 3 or more blocks apart. Trees need large vertical clearance (16 tiles for most trees, 24 for Jungle trees and 30 for Palm trees) to grow consistently. Mushrooms
All Mushroom types will grow naturally on their respective Grass surface. Usually, mushroom farms consist of several layers of dirt with 3 block tall gaps in between. All of these farms can use Fencesas background walls to prevent enemy spawns. Both vines from the layer above and grass on that layer will block further mushroom spawns. Shimmer
Shimmerallows easy farming of several resources by decrafting bought items or other easily farmed resources into forms that are otherwise harder to farm. 1. Crystal Shards
Crystal Shards are used in Greater Healing Potions, Super Mana Potions, various weapons, and crystal-related ammo, as well as a high sell price. If looking to farm them for money, farm Pixie Dust as well to craft them into Greater Healing Potions at an Alchemy Tablefor better efficiency. Meteorite
Meteors can fall after defeating the Eater of Worlds or Brain of Cthulhu, and the resulting Meteorite Ore can be used for Meteor Shot and Star Cannon. Meteors will try to fall straight down from near the top of the world, and you can control where they can land by making a sky bridge over portions of the world. Most resources can be found naturally within the world, while others such as several Plants or Crystal Shards can additionally be grown in a convenient area for harvest. The following guide will focus on those resources that can be easily obtained or farmed in large quantities.
Apr 1, 2016 · How do AFK Mob Farms work? It's pretty simple, you stand still and kill things that have had their spawn location manipulated to make the mobs work for you. The goal is to kill as many enemies in as little time possible in order to increase the chance of getting a rare drop.
Just standard mob farms in the underground crimson/corruption/hallow. I would recommend doing one in the Hallow if you want the Rod of Discord. If not, do one in the evil biome. Still, Farming BoC remains viable due to Crimtane's INSANE sell value.
