With the Windows Insider Program, you’ll get all the latest Windows 11 and Windows 10 builds as soon as they’re available.
•Join the Windows Insider Program to be one of the first to experience the new ideas and concepts we’re building. In return, we want to know what you think. You’ll get an easy-to-use Feedback Hub app to send us your feedback, which will help guide us along the way.
•The Windows Insider Program includes features and functionality to better support IT professionals, developers, and business customers in our Insider community. Insiders can deploy Windows 11 and Windows 10 Insider Preview Builds and give feedback to Microsoft using corporate credentials.
This program is designed exclusively for people who want to be involved in the process. So if you want to help us build the best Windows yet, we want you to join us.
Once you've joined the Insider program, here's how to set your Windows device up to start receiving the latest Insider builds:
1.Select the Start button, then select Settings > Windows Update > Windows Insider Program.
2.Select Get Started.
3.Select Link an account, and either select the account you used to register with the Insider program, or if you used a different account, under Use a different account, select the type of account you used, and enter those credentials.
4.Select the Insider channel you would like to receive builds for, and then select Continue.
5.Review the agreements for your device, and then select Continue.
Opt out with the next production build
We recommend opting out of Insider builds when your PC or phone is using a production build, which is more stable and can remain on your device longer. Insider builds are less stable than production builds, aren’t serviced, and eventually expire. 1.Wait for the next build announcement. The Feedback Hub app is a good place to check for this. 2.Make sure your device is using a production build. On your PC, do one of the following: •Select the Start button, then select Settings > System > About , and then look for the build edition, version, and build number. •In the Search box, type winver, or press Windows logo key + R, then look for the build number. 3.Select the Start button, then select Settings > Windows Update > Windows Insider Program, and then select Stop Insider builds. 4.Follow the instructions to opt out your device.
Opt out to your device’s original operating system
To return to a stable build, restore your device back to the operating system it was running when purchased. Use the one of the following appropriate recovery images to restore your device. To restore your PC: 1.Back up any info you want to keep. 2.Use one of the following recovery images: Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11.
