Nov 28, 2016 · There are two ways you can reset your EX7000 to default settings. First by pressing the Factory Reset button and second, by using the web user interface (GUI). Factory Reset button: Look for an object like a pen or a paper clip. On the bottom of the EX7000, look for the Factory Reset button.
- Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to your extender’s network. Note: Your router and extender might have different WiFi network names (SSIDs).
- If your extender and router use different WiFi network names (SSIDs), type www.mywifiext.net into the address field of your web browser.
- If your extender and router use the same WiFi network name (SSID), type http:// (for example, http://192.168.1.3) into your browser’s address field.
- Click or tap Enter. A login page displays.
Setup Page: Launch a web browser and enter mywifiext.net or 192.168.1.250. This will take you to the New Extender Setup page. This is similar to how the Router Login system works. Admin Credentials: Click on NEW EXTENDER SETUP. Choose and set your extender’s admin credentials, which are different from your WiFi network password.
