  4. Aug 5, 2021 · My DNS2 is 8.8.4.4 already by default, only DNS1 is from the Windows hotspot DHCP address range. So I guess, the change is not going to help much because if the local DNS is not working, the Android phone would use a Google DNS server as a fall-back anyway. Next time the problem occurs, I am going to try anyway and provide feedback here.
