    • Power off your Android device. When removing a SIM card, it is absolutely essential that your device is powered off, for both your safety and that of your device.
    • Find a small bobby pin or SIM removal tool. You will need to access a small slot on the side of your device to eject the SIM card tray. Some Androids come with a small pin-like tool designed for this very purpose.
    • Slide the bobby pin into the SIM tray. The SIM tray is likely located along the side of your phone, often on the top-left in a Google Pixel or Samsung Galaxy.
    • Remove the SIM card with care. Once you properly plug the bobby pin into the SIM tray's hole, the tray will open and the SIM card will eject. Carefully remove the SIM.
  6. Click each step to see the action, click the picture or use the arrow keys. 1. Press and hold the Power/Lock Key. 2. Tap Power Off. 3. Insert the SIM ejection tool into the hole in the SIM Card tray and push until the tray pops out. 4. Remove the Nano SIM Card from its holder.

  7. Remove the SIM card by sliding it out of the black tray. Insert the replacement SIM card with the gold plated side with lines facing down. Fold the black tray down with the SIM card in and push forward until the tray "slides" into place.
