You can keep phosphor slimes outside of the grotto if for some reason you can't use the grotto. You have an easier time navigating around harmful slimes. It is easier to tell if your slimes are overcrowded.
Getting a Gold Gordo – The Snare. The first step to gather Gold Slimes this way is to first get a Gold Gordo. To catch any Gordo you need a Gordo Snare. These are items where you can place a piece of food in order to allure a Gordo to be permanently sitting on the Snare, though you cannot see the Gordo moving to it, it just teleports there.
I keep 9 largo corrals, 4 purebred corrals, 3 types of free-range slimes, 4 farm plots, 6 storage towers, 2 chicken coups, an incinerator, some water slimes, and an overpriced statue on my ranch. The overgrowth is dedicated to farming. I rotate between fruits and vegetables, and keep tangle slimes free-range.
I’ve got a pretty nice flow on my ranch and can keep most of my slimes happy and well fed while off adventuring. That is except for my damn fire slimes. My drones have proven they’re not up to the task of keeping the fire slimes fed and no matter how hard I try I can’t keep the ash trough filled enough to prevent despawning when I’m gone for more than a night.
Apr 16, 2018 · At 5 largos per corral, your plort output will be 40 plorts of each type per day. Also, use the daytime to go out in the range; and nighttime to do all the crop harvesting, feeding, and collection of plorts from the corrals. Don't bother with sleeping, it often leads to various bugs such as disappearing slimes.
I guess I don't have many tips, really. As u/treehugger0123 wrote, growing the slime's food near their pen can help a lot. Purchasing the inventory-limit upgrades are essential. Purchasing the overgrowth ranch expansion and then doing a mission for Ogden will unlock his side quests.
