Federal Work-Study (FWS) is a program that allows students to work on-campus, part-time while completing their studies. Students are awarded work-study as part of their financial aid package, based on their needs indicated in the FAFSA. Federal funds cover 75% of the student paycheck, while NYU pays 25%. Once a student’s FWS award is depleted, NYU is responsible for 100% of the student paycheck.
