Travel to the Grand Narukami Shrine which is located north of Mt. Yougou and speak with Inagi Hotomi at the entrance to acquire the Memento Lens. Equip it from your gadget pouch and return to the abandoned shrine, then scan all of the smaller kitsune statues.
To get the Memento Lens, you have to unlock the quest 'Sacrificial Offering'. You unlock this quest by completing its prerequisite quest, A Strange Story in Konda. Once you finish this quest, you are told to find the Abandoned Shrine Northeast of Konda Village. Here's where the Shrine is. The Shrine. Now, you'll be told to investigate.
