At London Heathrow Terminal 5, London Gatwick and London City airports, once you have a boarding pass, you can get your baggage tags and check your bag in at our Bag Drop points.
Jul 29, 2024 · Print and Collect Your Boarding Passes. At this point, the kiosk should print your boarding pass (or passes, if you have a connecting flight). The customer service representative will walk to your kiosk or gesture for you to come to the counter. They will ask where you are traveling.
It doesn't actually matter which option you choose if you want to print the boarding pass at the airport, as they all allow you to do it, assuming the airport has self service check-in machines that BA use. If there are no machines available, the check-in agents will print it for you.
- Start by checking in online. If you’ve upgraded to Premium, Extra Legroom seats or Extra Space seats, or chosen the Select Your Seat option, online check-in will open 14 days prior to your departure.
- Day-before bag drop. If your flight has a TOM flight number, your flight time is eligible, and you’re flying from Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Gatwick or Manchester, you can check your bags in on the day before you're due to fly.
- Self-service bag drop. If you’ve checked in online, your flight has a TOM or BY flight number and you’re flying from an eligible airport, you can head straight to the self-service bag drop kiosks when you arrive at the airport.
- No bags to check in? If you’re just taking hand luggage with you on your flight, and you’ve checked in online, you can make your way to security as soon as you arrive at the airport.
