   Jun 29, 2022 · I had to open Yahoo Mail with a browser, log in and then go to Settings>Account Security>App Password>Generate App Password and use the temporary password it generated. Then both email clients added the Yahoo account successfully. Perhaps it will work for you too 🤞. AP.
