Find out how to get your phone or tablet ready for donation. Clothing, for example: womenswear, menswear, children's (including shoes). Accessories, for example: jewellery, watches, handbags, purses and wallets. Books, for example: comics, antiques, fiction and non-fiction, kids books.
- Items Must Not Have Missing Parts
- Items Should Not Have Obvious Stains, Rips Or Marks
- Items Must Work
We cannot accept items with missing parts that affect the use of the product. For example: 1. a sofa with missing seat cushions 2. a wardrobe with missing doors 3. a chest of drawers with a drawer missing. However, a smaller defect such as a missing handle from a chest of drawers will be accepted.
We cannot accept: 1. upholstered items with rips and tears that expose the inner material due to fire safety regulations 2. items that have been heavily scratched or marked 3. items that are stained, particularly mattresses 4. items with chipped, cracked or broken glass.
Items must be in working condition. This applies to items such as: 1. electrical items 2. recliner chairs and sofas 3. adjustable office chairs 4. filing cabinets.

Sep 25, 2024 · You can request a free furniture collection using our online form at the bottom of the page. You will need to tell us: what items you would like to donate; your preferred collection date; where we will be collecting from; your contact details. Your local BHF store will then contact you within 5 working days to agree a date.
Get your unwanted furniture items taken away quickly and free of charge whilst helping to support the British Heart Foundation. Collections can be booked to suit you and are easy to reschedule should your circumstances change.
