Queen Slime can be summoned by using a Gelatin Crystal in The Hallow, which is found in the Underground Hallow in the same places that Crystal Shards. The Fight. In her first phase, Queen Slime jumps around in a similar fashion to King Slime, though much faster.
To summon the Queen Slime, one must acquire a Gelatin Crystal and use it within the Hallow or Underground Hallow. When the Gelatin Crystal is used outside of these areas, it fails to summon the boss and remains intact. The Gelatin Crystal is among the few naturally occurring items capable of summoning bosses.
Queen Slime can be spawned in the Hallow or Underground Hallow by using a Gelatin Crystal, which is consumed upon use and immediately summons the boss. If used outside the Hallow, the boss will not be summoned and the Gelatin Crystal will not be consumed.
