Newly admitted international students should follow these steps to commit to enrolling at USC, including accepting your admission offer, obtaining a visa, attending orientation and registering for courses.
Apply for a student visa. Complete the visa application, known as a DS-160. For more information, visit travel.state.gov/content/ travel/en/us-visas/study/student-visa.html and click on the “FAQS: DS-160” button in the right hand column. Pay the visa application fee. This is separate from the I-901 SEVIS fee.
