Mirko is protected by Endeavor. There has hardly been any interaction between these two heroes, yet Endeavor feels he owes Rumi. After he and Hawks ended up wounded and tired after their fight against Hood, the villain Dabi appears ready to attack them taking advantage of their weakness.
The scene played out way different in the Manga (with even another character who saved her out of the huge shrine spirit who tried to swallow her) The anime ending was a bit stupid imo after binge reading the Manga today so I really recommend reading it too. Spoilers Ahead :
Aug 16, 2020 · As mentioned above, in the most recent story arc (the Paranormal Liberation War Arc), Mirko went in ahead of the rest of the heroes. She found herself facing off against several Nomu, and while she did better than most, she did take a lot of damage. Most notably, her arm was literally crushed.
There’s been quite a bit of discussion lately about how brutalized miruko has been during this arc, and that it’s only been done because of horikoshi’s fetish or misogyny. I’m wondering the general opinion on this take, because personally I don’t agree at all.
