2 days ago · Consider the effect of sin on Cain. Cain more violently mirrored the effects of the Fall than what occurred to Adam and Eve. Cain was afflicted with pride, jealousy, envy, anger and an abject lack of love. His hate led Cain to kill his brother Abel (Genesis 4:1-16). At the Fall of our First Parents, mankind is now irretrievably linked to sin.
Jan 4, 2022 · The effects of the Fall are numerous and far reaching. Sin has affected every aspect of our being. It has affected our lives on earth and our eternal destiny. One of the immediate effects of the Fall was that mankind was separated from God. In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve had perfect communion and fellowship with God.
- Spiritual Separation. First, the perfect relationship between God and humanity was broken with the Fall. Sin caused a wall of separation to be erected between the creature and the Creator where previously there had been none.
- Judgment Upon The Serpent. Through the serpent, Satan appeared as an angel of light. The serpent, who was Satan's tool in the Fall, was himself judged with a divine curse.
- Judgment On The Woman. Judgment against the woman consisted in two areas that originally were to be a source of blessing - her children and her husband.
- Judgment On The Man. Man must now labor for his existence on a cursed earth. Adam may have had to perform work before the Fall, but now his work involves exhausting toil and suffering.
The most terrible effect of the fall was the effect it had on the loving relationship between God and man. Whereas before the fall, man walked openly with God in the garden; after the fall man hid in fear and shame from God (Genesis 3:9–10). God was no longer a Father to be loved, but a Judge to be feared.

I think the one question on everyone's mind, regardless of their worldview, is what went wrong on this planet. Why don't all babies come home with their moms, and why don't marriages last? And why is there death? And why is there suffering? Every world view is wrestling, and they all have various versions of that. We know something's wrong but outs...
