Jaws first appeared in the 1977 film The Spy Who Loved Me as a henchman to the villain, Karl Stromberg. He was an assassin, and is last seen swimming in the ocean after escaping from the Atlantis city ship on which Bond had killed Stromberg before it was torpedoed and sunk.
Jaws attempts to overpower James Bond. After returning to Atlantis and killing Stromberg, Bond heads to the place's prison tract to find and free Amasova. Arriving there, he is surprised to see that Jaws is there as well. Bond shoots at Jaws but only hits Jaws' teeth, merely staggering the giant.
Jaws doesn't reappear in the film until Hugo Drax's henchmen Chang is killed, and he is hired as a replacement. Later Jaws travels to Rio de Janeiro where he unsuccessfully attempts to kill Manuela after Bond saves the day once more.
Jaws manages to survive, as always, by safely landing on a circus tent. Later in the film, the main villain Hugo Drax hires Jaws to kill James Bond. While Bond is in a cable car half way down a mountain, jaws kills the car operator and stops Bond's car in mid air.

Aug 3, 2023 · Jaws eventually grabs Bond by the neck and tries to bite him, just as Bond grabs a nearby lamp, smashes the glass, and aims the wires at Jaws’ steel teeth, electrocuting him. Bond then kicks Jaws out of the window, but he simply dists himself down and heads off on foot.
Sep 10, 2016 · Jaws attempts to kill Bond at the Rio Carnival and then again on the cable cars at Sugarloaf Mountain. Jaws crashes at high speed into the control station where having emerged from the rubble he meets Dolly and the pair immediately fall in love.
Jul 2, 2020 · Quint hates sharks. When Brody hires him, Quint’s disinfecting a full row of shark teeth, likely from a fresh kill, to mount on his wall along with the rest of his enormous, creepy collection of shark jaws (which foreshadows, in a way, what will happen to him).
