The famous “And hair grows back” dialogue proves that Cersei is not one to give up, no matter the trauma she’s endured. When Cersei’s hair was shorn off in 5x10, we do not see it grow back much if at all.

  6. In reality, she has no real reason to keep it short. It's just the shows way of trying to show that she's the new Cersei now, and to grow out the hair would seem like the character is backtracking. Personally, I'd rather she grew it out again. She can show that she's unaffected by the Faith Militants.
