The positive thing is that the quarry is nice and deep and the swimming area goes out to 15 feet deep. This is a bonus, as you can actually swim as opposed to just splashing around. The negative side is that this place represents the nanny state at its worst.

Water temperatures range from under 50 F (10 C) in winter up to 70 F (21 C) in summer. The quarry is open to divers from 8 a.m. until dark between April 1 and December 31.
