The Film Forum is a nonprofit movie theater at 209 West Houston Street in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York City. It is a four-screen cinema open 365 days a year, with 280,000 annual admissions, nearly 500 seats, 60 employees, 4,500 members, and an operating budget of $5 million.
In 1990, Film Forum’s current Houston Street cinema was built at a cost of $3.2 million. In 2018, Film Forum raised $5 million to renovate and expand its Houston Street cinema, upgrading the seating, legroom, and sightlines in all theaters and adding a new, 4th screen.

There are a few garages west, including an Icon garage on Houston between Hudson and Greenwich. There is parking in the area on most of the surrounding streets, both metered & non-metered. Parking on 6th Avenue, 7th Avenue, & Varick is metered.
Our entire facility is accessible. All four theaters, our restrooms, and our lobby are wheelchair accessible, located on the ground-level with no stairs.
