- 'Green Room' (2015) While on the road in the DIY music scene, a punk band is forced to take a gig in a shady bar run by even shadier people. Before leaving when their set is finished, the band witnesses a murder, setting the stage for an all-night standoff between themselves and the neo-nazis that run the place.
- 'Return of the Living Dead' (1985) After three warehouse employees accidentally release a toxic gas that's part of a government experiment, the gas begins turning unsuspecting victims in zombies.
- 'Uncle Peckerhead' (2020) Up-and-coming punk band Duh quit their jobs to take their band on the road in hopes of becoming legends in the scene. When circumstances leave them without a van, their search for a replacement leads them to a man named Peckerhead (David Littleton), who offers to drive them in his van as an acting roadie.
- 'Wild Zero' (1999) On one fateful night, a meteorite lands in the Japanese city of Asahi, plaguing it with the threat of zombies and alien spacecraft. What these extraterrestrial invaders don't anticipate, however, is a power rock trio named Guitar Wolf, who happens to have the special abilities to stop them.
- Uncle Peckerhead (2020) With a name like Uncle Peckerhead, you know you're in for a show! The film follows a punk band named Duh on their first road tour.
- The Ranger (2018) Teen punks on the run from the law meet up against a rogue government employee in 2018's The Ranger. Directed by Jenn Wexler and cowritten by Wexler and Giaco Furino, this film also features Chloë Levine, Jeremy Holm, and Granit Lahu.
- The Lost Boys (1987) The Lost Boys is not just a play on the lost boys from the Peter Pan stories - it's as horror-filled now as it was watching it in 1987.
- The Return of the Living Dead (1985) Dan O’Bannon’s directorial debut was with the iconic smash hit The Return of the Living Dead. It’s a fantastic tale of a zombie apocalypse that's released by two bumbling employees goofing off in a lab.
- The Cramps – Human Fly (1978) Before ‘horror-punk’ was even truly a thing, there was the garage rock of Sacramento’s The Cramps. But one can hear the genre’s fertile grave dirt on Human Fly, the opener of their first 12” EP Gravest Hits.
- The Misfits – Last Caress (1980) 'I got something to say: I killed a baby today, and it doesn’t matter much to me, as long as it's dead. ' With these words, The Misfits established themselves as everything creepier than everything else, and coined horror punk’s unholy and everlasting legacy.
- Bauhaus – In The Flat Field (1980) Sure, Bauhaus will always be remembered as the greatest goth band ever, but their early material shows how much that genre began as an offshoot of punk.
- Christian Death – Spiritual Cramp (1982) Just like grindcore would later appeal to punk’s crusty side, Christian Death’s searing, guitar-driven goth-rock drew punks in with its nihilistic glamour.
