Jul 21, 2017 · Some of you may have heard the sad news about Hope Ryden passing away in June at age 87. In addition to her prodigious conservation work and devotion to wildlife, Hope served faithfully on Project Coyote’s Science Advisory Board almost from its inception.
Author-Naturalist Hope Ryden has spent years in the field, studying and photographing North American wildlife. Her behavioral findings have been published in National Geographic, Smithsonian, and Audubon magazine, and her books have been translated into German, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and Russian.
Naturalist Hope Ryden braved all seasons and weather over a four-year period to document the comings and goings of a pair of wild beavers (Lily and the Inspector General and their offspring).
